We announce with great sadness on Wednesday, 29th January 2020, Doris passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Queens Lodge Nursing Home, Blackburn aged 85 years. Wife of the late Joe, dearly loved mum of Gary, Martyn, Julie and Stephen, dear mother-in- law of Eileen, treasured nan of Daniel, Lucy, Oliver, Liam, Harry and Alex also a dear sister and auntie. A service in Spring Vale Methodist Church, Darwen on Friday, 7th February at 1.45 p.m. will be followed by interment at Darwen Eastern Cemetery.
