On 22nd May 2024, peacefully in hospital.  Don, aged 85 years.  Beloved husband of the late Eve, much loved dad of Sammy, dear father-in-law of Malcolm, dearly loved gag of Mark, Jenna, Annya, Emily and Jed, treasured great gag of Darcy, Mikey, Dottie and Nora also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle.  R.I.P.  Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Darwen on Thursday, 6th June at 11 a.m. will be followed by interment at Darwen Eastern Cemetery.  Family flowers only please, but if desired donations may be sent for COPD Ward, Royal Blackburn Hospital.  c/o Edwin Ainsworth Funeral Service, Church Bank Street, Darwen.  BB3 3HA.  Tel 01254 873290
