On 13th July 2019, Fortified by the Rites of Holy Mother Church, Alex passed away peacefully at Northwood Nursing Home, Blackburn, surrounded by his loving family aged 80 years. Beloved husband of Maureen, dearly loved dad of Jane and Simon, dear father-in-law of Charlie and Janine, treasured gramps of Lydia, Sebastian and Felix also dear brother of Brenda, Robin, Ian and the late Geoffrey.
