In her own words – When I was at school choosing my career options I saw the profession of a Funeral Director. I told my careers officer, that this is what I wanted to do…. who then replied ” You can’t do that, this profession is for men and you are too small, so look at something else”. I took this advice and began training to be a nursery nurse doing the NNEB course. During this time, my grandfather passed away a lady arrived to prepare him, so I told my parents that I was going to fulfill my orginal dream of being a Funeral Director.

Patricia arrived at Edwin Ainsworth in January 1993 and has been here ever since. Not only being in the office and working behind the scenes, but as co owner with her husband Gregory.
